Important Announcement

KOSO is pleased to announce that on January 23, 2007, it completed the purchase of the assets of M-Mac Actuators Inc.

The M-Mac actuator is a self contained electro-hydraulic actuator that offers linear and rotary units with a variety of speed and control capabilities. The M-Mac actuator will be sold in North America through KOSO AMERICA, Inc., manufacturer of REXA Electraulic™ actuators and drives. The M-Mac line is expected to expand Koso America 's presence within the general industries and complement the REXA product in its core industries of power, oil & gas and water treatment.

M-Mac's North Vancouver facility has been closed effective this date. The assets are being relocated to KOSO's India Operations; as such, we expect a transition period with an interruption in service and supply for new M-Mac products business. KOSO America, manufacturer of Rexa and KOSO Hammel Dahl control valves will be rolling out a distribution program for the M-Mac product in North America ; details and timing will be communicated at a later date.

KOSO is comprised of a number of diversified equipment manufacturers that primarily support the industrial controls market. Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Tokyo , Japan , Nihon Koso has a worldwide network of production and sales locations.

Koso America, located at 4 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA, USA, manufactures and sells REXA self contained, microprocessor based, electro-hydraulic actuators and drives, as well as KOSO Hammel Dahl control valves to a wide variety of process industries.
